Our Performance
Catalyst believes a key indicator for the success of a real estate investment company is the result of its efforts in varying market conditions.  With traditional debt being nearly absent between 2009 and 2012, the Catalyst team shifted its capital market strategy to leverage available sources of public debt and equity to facilitate project implementation.  Despite the economic downturn, Catalyst remained busy through the use of various HUD and CDBG programs, Tax Increment Financing, New Market Tax Credits, and Texas Chapter 380 Agreements resulting in over $700M in closed transactions.  Once the market returned in 2012, Catalyst expanded its capital procurement efforts to again include traditional forms of debt and equity.  All combined, these efforts have resulted in over $2.3B across more than 200 debt and equity transactions through traditional and public sources since 2009.
