Fort Worth, Texas | In Development
Downtown Fort Worth is widely recognized as one of the best and most walkable urban districts in the United States. Over multiple generations, the City has taken care to ensure its employment base stays within downtown by promoting restaurants, civic spaces, and pleasant streetscapes. And while this success has flourished, new sites for residential development have been difficult to assemble due to size and economic constraints. To mitigate this challenge, Catalyst worked with the City to form the SODO district, a mixed-use development along the length of Lancaster Avenue as a new residential gateway to the downtown core. Burnett Lofts is the first phase of this master development and will feature a host of amenities that provide the convenience and excitement of urban living. These include a large commercial-scale health and fitness facility with outdoor terraces, a resident lounge complete with gaming, coffee lounge, meeting spaces, dining room, business and meeting center, bike storage, food vending facilities, and a rideshare waiting lounge adjacent to drop off parking. Exterior amenities include an oversized resort-style pool courtyard with grilling stations and custom artwork, an elevated parking garage with direct access to the building corridors, and a gated dog park and terrace with access to the downtown hike and bike trail system. Residents will enjoy conditioned building corridors, quality designer finishes, 10'+ ceilings with 8' doors throughout, large windows and exterior balconies, endless hot water through a central on-demand system, top unit technology including Nest thermostats, and the convenience of living within blocks of downtown Fort Worth's office towers and restaurants. Construction will begin in 2019. -- Awards and Distinction -- This development is the result of a strategic public/private partnership with City of Fort Worth.
